You can squeeze out some extra XP in Fort Joy by dropping a deathfog barrel on Dallis' pets at the beginning that will make Dallis drop her hammer too. Don't forget to kill Septa too, it opens up a route for a questline later on and she gives you some XP as well. Also Griff's annoying with all his complaining about the bleeding dwarves and not being fit for beasts. Griff's people don't give out much XP but more than half of them drop uniques so. The only other ppl are worth leaving alive are Sahelia and friends, Butter, some NPCs that give no XP like Bahara, Feder who's a super good trader, Gerald and obviously Malady. I suppose it might be worth leaving the book traders alive. Yea the note is completely right, you should definitely go total psycho and murder everyone for the XP, being level 9 gives you a bunch of OP items from Braccus' well and all of Gerald's ppl will die or go MIA anyway B4 getting to act 2 so might as well. The Hold ♦ Fort Joy ♦ Fort Joy Ghetto ♦ Arena of the One ♦ Caverns ♦ Dark Cavern ♦ Fort Joy Prison ♦ Forgotten Cell ♦ Ancient Passage ♦ Underground Tunnel ♦ Witch's Location ♦ The Hollow Marshes ♦ Sanctuary of Amadia ♦ Braccus Rex's Tower ♦ Decrepit Ruins However, do NOT kill Saheila or her allies in the caverns!! She will be critical to a quest chain in Act II. Also, as macabre as it may sound, once you are at this point there is nothing stopping you from going back through the entire area and killing everything that moves for extra XP and loot. KEY NOTE: Once you have completed killing Bishop Alexandar and can talk to Malady, you will permanently lose access to this area and any quests you have not yet completed will be archived. The main goal of this area is to escape Fort Joy, remove your Source Collar and eventually get onto the Lady Vengeance ship. Fort Joy is the very first Region the player will find after completing the Tutorial. Some relying only on source, the way Bless does.Fort Joy is a Location in Divinity: Original Sin 2. And i would have loved more Source related spells and abilities. Either some time to have it back and reuse it (in which case developing your power would allow you to use more of it before it drains out) or grant an "Exhausted" status of sorts after you use too much of it. Probably, i would have prefered a system where using source comes with a cost. Wasn't Source a power contained in one's own body? I understand they did that for balance purposes but i feel it breaks their lore. The Gargoyles Maze is a side quest in Divinity: Original Sin II. But then, i fail to see the need for your party to unlock "Source Points" and find external source pools. It is told that many sourcerers were brought to Fort Joy after a Source "accident", where their power unleashed uncontrollably and unwillingly. On the other hand, i kind of understand, from playing through the Joy Act, that Source is a power inside every Sourcerer. I would not want that, source would lose every bit of what makes it special and become a "buff resource", which would be a shame. You can find various source orbs and source potions later in the game.Source fountains are a renewable means of replenishing source points. They can be found in the Decrepit Ruins in Act I, under Meistr Siva's house in Act II, and in Arhu's prison in Act IV.You can find soul jars in the quests Withermoore's Soul Jar and The Cursed Ring Some skills can also grant you source points, such as Source Vampirism. Below are a list of Skill Book Locations: Potions Food Runes Grenades Arrows Weapons Armor Tools Scrolls Skill Books Materials Enchants Skill Book Locations All Skill book traders will recieve the next tier of skill books when the player reaches levels: 1, 4, 9, 13 (source skill), 16.For example, in Act I, there are multiple pools of source water in The Hollow Marshes and another in the Necromancer's Tower. When a character with an empty Source Point slot stands on a surface of Source water, they will absorb the surface and gain a Source Point. In Divinity Original Sin 2, there are some areas covered with Source water.Players will receive their second and third Source Point slot in quest Powerful Awakening. There is one in The Vault of Braccus Rex as well as one behind the Voidwoken in the Hollow Marshes. Players will receive their first Source Point slot after finding a statue of the Divines and porting to the Hall of Echoes. Source Points in Divinity: Original Sin 2 grant very powerful Source Skills that the player can use.
